In 1985, a business called Erico in Tasmania, made the Dynasphere Lightning Protection. Unlike other lightning protections,in the world, it is the most technical and most guaranteed that your conductible equipment won't be electrofied. The Dynasphere lightning protection is used for communication towers, schools, hospitals, gas platforms and that's just to name a few. The way that they work is that they attract the lightning by sending out a streamer when there's thunder near by.Next the electricity is generated through the dome to the underground rod. You wouldn't think that Tasmania was the first ever to be the leader in lightning protection now wouldn't you?

Even the more basic inventions had to come from somewhere? In 1902, a Launceston citizen J.A (John Arthur) Birchall was the very first person to realize that loose paper was getting a bit out of hand so he cut the paper in half, backed the paper with cardboard and glued the top. He sold them with the name of Silvercity Writing Tablets. His English paper source Wiggins Teape was the very first person to make bound paper until this clever Tasmanian. Thank our Launceston inventor for not letting us hold papers that aren't connected.
